We are Tony and Beverly Steele and we have answered the Lord's call to do evangelism, church planting and leadership training in the southern part of Zacatecas state in Mexico. There are about 20 municipios (county seat towns) in southern Zacatecas state. Only about 5 of them have an evangelical church. It is our desire to plant as many churches as the Lord desires and will use us to plant in all of those cities. Of course, we cannot do this alone. We will need Mexican pastors and leaders to lead these churches. Please pray for laborers in the harvest!
After a year of studying Spanish at the Spanish Language Institute in San Jose, Costa Rica, we are now living in our mission home base - Jerez, Zacatecas. We are still learning the Spanish language, especially the Mexican version of it. Pray that the Lord will continue to increase our ability to communicate in the heart language of the Mexican people.
