Confessions of a Missionary

Felt the need to confess this morning. 

Confessions of a Missionary

He is always faithful;

I am faithful on my best days. 

He is always leading;

I, too often, fail to follow. 

He has placed me in the midst of people who need Him;

I fail to notice them at times. 

He has called me to a work bigger than me;

At times I feel I am sufficient to the task. 

He died for a world of sinners;

I, with my choices, decide who gets to hear of Him. 

He loves those sinners;

I don't care so much for some of them. 

I am one of those sinners;

He loved and called me anyway. 

“Oh, Lord Jesus, more of You and less of me.”
